Some Hardware Recommendations
It drives me nuts when I join into a public game and I’m assigned to a team without microphones. Go figure, they’re also the losing team. I also played with a kid last night who said his “sound wasn’t working”. WTF? Really? In this post I rant about players who play without the two most important pieces of hardware. Well, I guess they could be trying to play without a keyboard or mouse.

Some basic techniques discussed, Listen and Locate, Shoot the Walls! Stick together always, be sure to leave the Safehouse at the same frikkin time. Remember you have a small window of opportunity to shoot the Smoker before he begins to pull you in.

I compiled a short list of newbie mistakes that really annoy me. One thing that really bugs me is when players go wayyy out of their way to kill a trailing Special Infected. Also, it’s a team game — heal your damn teammates! Four players have a much greater chance of survival. Also, damnit, don’t spam your microphone if your voice is still squeeking!
