The Special Infected are Zombies who have mutated into deadlier and more advanced adversaries. These mutations include, though are not limited to; increased strength, super-human jumping and climbing capabilities, improved vision and coordination, large and sharp flesh dicing claws, extraordinarily long tongues and short tempers that make a seemingly threat less zombie want to tear your face off.
Teamwork and communication is necessary to fend off these relentless demons. Special Infected that attack with precision and coordination ultimately dominate Veteran Survivors.
